Communications
Although much of ENA's work is technical, a major part is related to keeping the public informed about energy issues. The reputation team develop our public relations strategy and lobby on behalf of the industry in both Westmister and Brussels, aiming to establish ENA as the most important entity with which to engage on non-single company network-related matters.
Public Affairs:
Issues affecting the UK's energy transmission and distribution networks sector impact all stakeholders including those in Westminster, Holyrood, the Regulator and the public. ENA are campaigning on a wide range of issues which affect our industry and the public at large.
Europe:
Our members know that what happens both politically and economically in Europe has a direct bearing on their business. Decisions taken by EU institutions affect UK legislation and consequently the regulatory framework in which our members work. ENA 's European service keeps members up to speed, by providing timely political intelligence, monitoring the progress of EU legislation, and campaigning on behalf of the networks where there are matters of concern.
Media:
In line with our committment to ensure the best possible representation for the UK's energy transmission and distribution networks, we aim to advocate the key messages of ENA and our sector through a wide range of media. The ENA media strategy serves not just to support our campaigning works, but to promote the industry as a whole.
