Health and Safety


ENA considers the health and safety of everyone involved with the energy industry - employees, contractors and the public - to be its highest priority.

The ENA SHE team are involved in a range of initiatives to improve health and safety for all stakeholders. These include developing occupational health case studies, maintaining an industry-wide accident database and an expanding suite of public safety leaflets.

ENA and our member companies are working towards the SAFELEC 2010 targets with the HSE and the industry's trade unions. The end of the decade is only a few years away and we are now starting to discuss what our targets and priorities should be beyond 2010. To meet the targets, good partnerships between management and employees are essential.
