DNO – IDNO Technical / Operational Joint Working Group facilitated by ENA
The ENA established a joint working group to consider the technical and operational issues related to the interface between the original electricity Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and the new electricity Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs).
The working group has been supported by Ofgem and HSE and was established to encourage dialogue and to produce a jointly drafted framework document. The Working Group agreed Terms of Reference and has met regularly to deliver the required output.
To maintain total transparency of the process, the Terms of Reference, the notes taken at the meetings and the jointly produced principles document are made public through the ENA website.
